Conservation Planning Intensive for Veterans

The National Center for Appropriate Technology (NCAT) will host a Conservation Planning Intensive workshop this spring in Montana.

In this two-day workshop, we will learn more about soil and water conservation efforts to improve your farm as well as programs available through the NRCS and Soil and Water Conservation Districts. We will work on developing conservation goals and a five-year conservation plan for your farm. We will also learn how to apply for conservation programs such as the NRCS EQIP. We will participate in implementing two EQIP programs at two separate farms in Northeastern Montana.

This workshop will take place in Scobey, Montana, May 16-17, 2022. It is open to military veterans and their spouse or farm partner.
