Sharing a great opportunity for veterans looking for a job in farming/agriculture and additional education and support for 12-18 months, located in North Carolina. Boots on the Ground: NC Veteran Farmer Apprenticeship is a registered apprenticeship program consisting of 2,000 hours of paid on the job training and 144 hours of paid related technical instruction that can be completed over 12-18 months. Host farms are located all across the state, and some are able to offer housing as well.
