[Cigteam] SSHI Report / COVID-19 Update

Good afternoon CIG team,

I hope everyone is doing well and practicing good public health practices. This week is going to be unusual due to the severity of COVID-19. UTRGV has extended spring break by one week for students and some staff who have traveled, like myself and Dr. Racelis, will be working remotely for the rest of the week. As we attempt to carry on as usual, a good place to start would be generating a discussion about our next steps regarding the cover crop field trial. It's been a dry year for all the dryland farmers and it has pushed our planting date for sorghum back quite significantly. Now with COVID-19 protocols, it's going to make the upcoming weeks more difficult to plant.
