Mitigating Risk on the Farm
NCAT Agriculture Specialist Rockiell Woods, along with other experts, will discuss risk management strategies farmers can use to make their farm business more resilient during a free online workshop on September 16, 2021.
Farmers face many risks, from crop loss to legal liability to market fluctuations. In this workshop, we will explore what actions farmers can take to reduce risk to their business, whether those risks are legal, financial, marketing, production, or human risks. There is no way to eliminate risk entirely, but there are many ways to reduce the risks so that farmers can be successful in the long term.
This virtual workshop will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. with a lunch break from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
To register for this workshop, go to https://us06web.zoom.us/meeting/register/tZ0lcOuhrj8jGdZxjX9h9WN3kCXEhfA2rvug.
