This pandemic has been hard on us all. For those of us in agriculture, it's been a wild year. To help our farmers and ranchers, the U.S. Department of Agriculture is accepting applications to a $14 billion pool of assistance money called the Coronavirus Food Assistance Program 2 (#CFAP2<https://www.facebook.com/hashtag/cfap2?__eep__=6&__cft__[0]=AZVpEPJ0dPkFqcYjIMb6FEPw4jyGldZkAJ2x6YiEeyw5PSxRLy64NZ0zxeaxGy0dSbw6P-wNaGgN6JPpzKD1Ittv4sbXbB2lXi_Slp5-ei8B-fJTc4ptS30JCHW_w1hWVafG9c9hjGyRleaw24r-tCPUxTUeMKH6L2likHXjZTZA-2KagtcLLkL7L_-e-vyIYyQ&__tn__=*NK-R>). The deadline to apply for CFAP2 is December 11, 2020.

This second round of assistance is much easier to apply for (compared to CFAP1) and could amount to roughly 10% of your 2019 earnings. That means that if you grossed $125,000 last year on your farm, you could receive a check from the government for around $12,500. https://www.farmers.gov/cfap
