OFRF is excited to announce two new opportunities to join our Research & Education team. We are accepting applications from qualified candidates for the following positions:

The Senior Scientist is responsible for leading the development of our online organic research content hub, a project that is a key component of our multi-year USDA Transition to Organic Partnership Program. This position also provides support on other R&E programmatic activities, including: supporting OFRF’s new Farmer-Led Research program; planning and facilitation of webinars, conferences, and meetings with researchers and farmers; and writing for research-related outreach and communications.

Starting salary range $65-74k depending on experience. OFRF offers a competitive benefits package and a great work environment with lots of flexibility.

Research & Education Engagement Coordinator<https://ofrf.us4.list-manage.com/track/click?u=1723215154e6cdd616272e234&id=1706a7f4d4&e=3405f51081>

The R&E Engagement Coordinator is responsible for facilitating OFRF’s farmer-led research trials; developing and implementing an outreach strategy to increase farmer engagement and the relevance and visibility of OFRF and our resources to growers;  and collecting and identifying stories of effective researcher and producer cooperation.

Starting hourly rate is $24-$29 depending on experience. OFRF offers a competitive benefits package and a great work environment with lots of flexibility.
