The Montana Farm to School Leadership Team<https://www.montana.edu/mtfarmtoschool/leadership-team/index.html> invites anyone interested or involved in farm to school efforts to participate in its public Working Group virtual meetings. This includes farmers, ranchers, school staff, parents, community members, students, and beyond! These meetings are an opportunity to learn about updates and projects happening at the state level, provide feedback on Farm to School Leadership Team projects and resources, share ideas and local updates, and connect with others.

This quarter’s meetings will be held at the following times:


  *   K-12 F2S Education Working Group: October 11, 2022 at 1:00 PM MST
  *   Beef to School Working Group: October 11, 2022 at 2:00 PM MST
  *   Local Procurement Working Group: October 12, 2022 at 11:00 AM MST
  *   Service-learning Working Group: October 13, 2022 at 11:00 AM MST
  *   Farm to ECE Coalition: October 14, 2022 at 10:00 AM MST

The Montana Farm to School Leadership Team works through partnerships across the state to build farm to school initiatives that help kids eat healthy, connect kids with agriculture and nutrition through education, support Montana farmers and food producers, foster economic vitality, and strengthen communities. This team is formed of agencies and organizations with statewide focus and influence that are key to the success of farm to school in Montana.
