Join the team at the Gallatin Valley Food Bank and help fight childhood
hunger in Southwest Montana.

Gallatin Valley Food Bank <https://gallatinvalleyfoodbank.org/> is an
emergency food access point with robust nutritional programs.  Serving
Individuals across the life span, the Child Nutrition VISTA would provide
support to both school year and summer feeding programs.
These programs include:
The Healthy KidsPack
<https://gallatinvalleyfoodbank.org/get-help/childhoodhungerinitiatives/>-
Providing supplemental food for elementary children on the weekends during
the school year. Serving an average of 450 students each week across 21
schools in 3 counties.
The Healthy KidsPantry
<https://gallatinvalleyfoodbank.org/get-help/childhoodhungerinitiatives/>-
Providing healthy in school snacks and supplemental weekend nutrition for
Middle and High School students. Partnering with 4 schools in the greater
Bozeman area, serving between 120-200 students each week.
Kids Summer Lunch program
<https://gallatinvalleyfoodbank.org/get-help/summer-meals/>- Preparing and
serving meals at park sites, community spaces, and summer camps.  Averaging
600 meals distributed each day.  In 2019 we served more than 28,000 meals
over 11 weeks.
This position works closely with the Child Nutrition Programs Coordinator
and supports volunteer recruitment/management, food rescue, food production
and food distribution, and strategic planning for both the children's
programs and our Food and Nutrition Department as a whole.
