Hello S4W network,

I just finished reading this inspiring article with microbiologist and climate scientist, Walter Jehne. He eloquently explains how we can safely cool the climate by repairing our disrupted hydrological cycles and returning excess carbon in the atmosphere to the soil.

If you are managing land, you want to read this. He explains water cycle processes very well, using poetic and memorable metaphors. He also emphasizes the importance of bacteria (aerobacter) to bring precipitation nuclei from plants into the atmosphere causing the formation of clouds and rain.

Jehne states that if we can restore our hydrological cooling balances by 1% we can evade a climate catastrophe. Further he says, "The amount of regeneration and restoration we have to do is very realistic in scale, but we still have to do it."

To that I say let's do it!

Hoping you all find this as useful as I did. I'd like to hear what you think after reading it. Send out a post! Thanks
