It's been a long time since any Montana project was funded, so this year's news is especially good. Congratulations to the winners of these grant awards.

MONTANA $96,800 to Intertribal Agriculture Council, Billings, MT, to
establish a mobile farmers market that will increase the
availability of healthy traditional foods in food deserts, and allow
American Indian food producers to market their products to
customers and native populations in urban areas.
$52,287 to Yellowstone City County Health Department dba
RiverStone Health, Billings, MT, to increase the number of
farmers/vendors and consumers participating in the Healthy by
Design Gardeners' Market by developing and implementing a
targeted promotional program for food desert residents.
$66,050 to Western Montana Growers Cooperative, Arlee, MT,

Agriculture (CSA) coordinated delivery program and improve
storage and packaging efficiencies, and to initiate a targeted
